All bike shop rentals are regularly serviced and maintained to the highest standard by the bike rental shop mechanics and are checked prior to being released to the customer. If a mechanical failure occurs during the rental period and is of no fault of the customer, return the bike rental to the rental shop and we will fix the failure or organise a replacement rental bike asap.
Damage that occurs as a result of an accident or incorrect usage will be assessed and the relative charge applied to have the bike repaired. We highly recommend taking our accidental bicycle insurance at $25 per bike per day for peace of mind that will cover you up to $1,000 with a $50 claim excess.
If you opt to not take out accidental bicycle insurance and damage occurs to the bike hire unfortunately, we'll have to charge you the full amount of the damage at shop rates.
You will need to bring a valid driver's license and credit card (we may require a pre-authorisation) when you collect your bike rental. You will also need a way to transport the bike so please ensure you are familiar with your bike rack setup.
