Once you have reserved and paid for your bike rental we will have your bike transported directly to the event. A representative from Bicycle Network will receive your bike and then assemble the bike and complete a final safety and quality check. You will then be notified when your bike is ready to be collected. We then recommend giving your bike a quick test ride before you take it back to your accommodation.

When your ride is complete, return the bike and all supporting kit to the designated rental area at the event and you are done. A step by step guide will be provided to ensure you know what needs to happen when.

All bikes will be fitted with the basic repair and puncture kit. Event mechanics will be on hand to assist you with anything you are unable to resolve yourself. Accidental damage coverage is offered (additional cost) on each bike rental for $49.99 which will cover up to $1,000 of damages. Any damage occurred (outside of normal wear and tear) is the responsibility of the renter. For full details refer to our Accidental Damage product disclosure statement.

Yes, if you have particular pedals you would like to use simply bring them to the event and an onsite mechanic can assist with replacing them as required.

Prices will start from $650 for pedal bikes and $1,295 for eBikes (based on approximately 8 days rental) however costs will depend on the type of bike you want to rent and any extras you may wish to purchase. To explore costs for the full range of bikes refer to the booking page.

In the event you need to cancel your rental you will receive 100% refund up to one month before the event. Should you need to cancel within a month of the event start date then a 25% non refundable administration fee will apply.

You will receive a full refund (100% of rental fee) up until the time your bike rental is dispatched to the event (approximately 1 week before the event start date). Should the bike already be in transit to the event you will be refunded the full amount less 25% of the rental fee.
