Rent My Bike Australia is proud to support the Bicycle Network in providing bike rentals for the Around The Bay cycling event. The Around The Bay is an iconic riding event on the cycling calendar, a true test of endurance and a celebration of riding on two wheels. With six ride options ranging from 20km to 300km there is really something for everyone.

Here at Rent My Bike we are just like you, passionate bike enthusiasts and we pride ourselves on quality bike rentals and exceptional customer service. We will assist you to find the right bike and fit it to your specific requirements.

All bike rentals are serviced by professional mechanics and transported directly to the event (additional cost) so all you need to do is get yourself there and let us take care of the rest. To find out more please refer to our FAQ below or contact us directly.

Our Rentals

We have a range of rental bikes to suit a variety of riders with different needs from eBikes to pedal bikes. Our bike range for the Around The Bay event is optimised for the event course to ensure you have the best riding experience possible, please refer to our recommended bikes below.

Along with your bike rental we can provide bike delivery and pickup service, a $99 fee applies.

If you require a delivery service select "Pick Up / Drop Off Charge - Ride Around The Bay Event" during the booking process, alternatively you can also pickup your rental from our Geelong shop for no additional charge.

What's included?

What to expect?

Once you have reserved and paid for your bike rental we will have your bike ready to be picked up from our Geelong Bike shop. If you have selected the delivery option we will contact you in advance to arrange a drop off location and time.

When your ride is complete, return the bike and all supporting kit to the Geelong Bike shop, if you have arranged pickup we will contact you in advance to arrange a pickup location and time at the event.

What if I have an issue with my bike rental?

All bikes will be fitted with the basic repair and puncture kit. Event mechanics will be on hand to assist (fees may apply) you with anything you are unable to resolve yourself. Accidental damage coverage is offered (additional cost) on each bike rental for $25 which will cover up to $1,000 of damages. Any damage occurred (outside of normal wear and tear) is the responsibility of the renter. For full details refer to our Accidental Damage product disclosure statement.

Costs will depend on which bike you rent, our hard tail range (bikes with front suspension only) start from $45/day. For more information please review our bike options above.
